On Sunday the 18th of December 2016, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider conducted a divine service in Silvertown, Athlone in Cape Town. During the divine service, the Chief Apostle placed District Apostle Noel Barnes, who had served as District Apostle for 20 years, into well-deserved retirement. John L. Kriel was ordained as District Apostle and Patrick Mkhwanazi as District Apostle Helper. This most beloved Christmas Carol was performed during this service
