The federal operations Unit, Four, Zone ‘A’ of the Nigeria Customs Service seized 20 vehicles with a duty paid value, of about 337 million Naira.

Seven Toyota Land Cruiser jeeps and a Nissan truck were recovered from the forests around the Papalanto area of Ogun State.

The other seizure of 12 exotic cars were taken from the home of a certain individual in Lagos State, south-west Nigeria.

The custom service said the individual imported the vehicles into the country illegally and is trying to evade payment of appropriate taxes and levies.

The officer in charge of the Lagos roving team, Assistant Comptroller, Adamu Abubakar, who impounded the vehicles, said the man in question had been charged to court.
