the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, said Nigeria aims to have the largest electric mass transit fleet in Africa and increase electric buses from 100 to 1,000, adding that the country is leading the fight against climate change in Africa by setting ambitious and realistic goals.
Speaking at the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Dubai, the Minister underscored the urgent need for concerted global action to address the challenges of climate change.
