Nigerian Navy foils attack on a British-flagged freighter

The Nigerian Navy used its superior firepower Friday to foil a pirate attack on a British-flagged freighter off the West African coast. A spokesman for the Nigerian Navy said all the crew were rescued unhurt and an inquiry's underway to determine the events surrounding the attack. As Richard Bestic reports, the attempted hijack comes in a week when a report warned of a dramatic increase in acts of piracy and kidnap off the Coast of Guinea.
