On Wednesday, representatives from Nigeria's opposition Labour Party and its candidate Peter Gregory Obi, as well as those from the electoral umpire, the nation's ruling party the All Progressives Congress, and the president-elect, reached an agreement to postpone the pre-hearing hearings of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal until May 17.

This occurred during the hearings of the tribunal that were being held in Abuja, which is the capital of Nigeria.
