Oil and Mining Exploration on Lake Malawi a Fitzfrank Entertainment, Revolution Media and CEPA Joi

The documentary explores the lives of people around LakeMalawi and how they will be impacted by extractive activities around the lake. It carries the voices of community leaders and ordinary villagers.


The documentary was commissioned by the Centre for Environmental Policy and Advocacy with support from Oxfam and the Australian government.

CEPA aims to strengthen governance around the extractive industries aimed at improving and accountability for the extractive industry as the government has issued six licences for the exploration of oil and gas in and around Lake Malawi.
