Oil Theft: Nigerian Navy Destroys Illegal Site At Degema LGA Of Rivers State

The Nigerian Navy is intensifying efforts to track down oil thieves in Rivers state, so says the commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Suleiman Ibrahim. Commodore Ibrahim stated this during the destruction of multiple trunk lines connected to Wellhead seventeen operated by Oil mining license OML eighteen belonging to the Nigerian national petroleum company NNPCL Limited, in Degema local government area of rivers state. The commander vowed that those involved in the economic sabotage will not go unpunished.
