Peter Mwanja, Chairman of the National Organising Committee, POATE, recently spoke to the media at the Uganda Tourism Press Conference at ITBM World 2022 in Barcelona about the upcoming Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) 2023 in Uganda.

The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) 2023 will bring tourism and travel trade partners from Uganda and worldwide to meet new clients, network, and discuss tourism business deals.

Organised by the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), the Expo will take place in Kampala attracting over 100 hosted buyers, 300 exhibitors including Tourism Boards, Hotels, Tour Operators, Corporate Companies, and over 5,000 trade visitors and consumers. Activities include Business to Business meetings, and engagements between buyers, exhibitors, and tour operators. Virtual Business to Consumer events includes the 2023 Thematic Seminars.
