Pro-Palestinian protester removes Israeli flag from Sheffield town hall

A security review is under way after a protester removed an Israeli flag from Sheffield town hall during a pro-Palestine rally in the city.

Footage posted on social media showed a protester scaling the 60-metre-tall building during a demonstration on Tuesday evening. The Israeli flag was brought down as he waved a Palestinian flag. A Sheffield city council spokesperson said the Israeli flag was handed back to officials.
