PROVERB SERIES Day 1 : Hausa | Da masu rai ake hidima
Our first proverb for this year is in the Hausa language, “DA MASU RAI AKE HIDIMA”.
Which can loosely be translated to mean, “Living life is for the living”.
As an active person, I was forced to learn the difficult lesson of rest and its importance in 2021. The ultimate takeaway was that if you don’t pick a day to rest your body will pick it for you and it will certainly not be a suitable time.
Take a break, catch your breathe….REST!!!!
Remember, da masu rai ake hidima.
