REFUGEE INTEGRATION IN ZAMBIA

Refugees are people who have fled their home-country for various reasons. Although some countries easily welcome "foreigners", others struggle to accept them. The process of accepting refugees is called Refugee Integration. The need to accept refugees was a highlight of the African Union 2019 World Refugee Day theme dubbed “Year of Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa.”
In this documentary, Pennipher Sikainda-Nyirenda looks at Zambia's approach towards refugee integration and work being done by government as well as civil society organizations like World Vision and AAH to make integrated refugees feel welcome.
