Regional strategies for conservation of local animal genetic resources in eastern Africa

This webinar is preparatory to a regional wet lab biobanking trainings in collaboration with the Africa Union Regional Animal Resources Seed Centres of Excellence (AU-ARSCoE), aiming to present and familiarize participants with the genebank operations, cryoconservation and restoration of local animal genetic resources using stem cell technologies, and to contribute to strengthening capacities for conservation practices and sustainable use of local and locally adapted AnGR under the auspices of the Centre for Tropical Livestock Genetics and Health (https://www.ctlgh.org/) and its partners institutions.
