Happy World Rhino Day! For this YouTube exclusive Rhino Talk, we're speaking with Ed Sayer, project leader for Frankfurt Zoological Society’s North Luangwa Conservation Program in Zambia.

Zambia went from holding one of the largest black rhino populations in the world to declaring them extinct in the 1990s. Conservationists have been working hard to build back this critically endangered species and keep them protected and thriving again. We discuss how Zambia has had to adapt its strategies during the global pandemic and the future of the North Luangwa Conservation Program.

Thank you for celebrating World Rhino Day with us we hope you're enjoying these events. Head over to rhinos.org/world-rhino-day for the rest of the event schedule and for ways to help rhinos today.
