Ride to Karamoja - Uganda bike event 2019

Ultimate Cycling Uganda, Kara-Tunga, Karamoja Tours & Arts and Tour of Karamoja are going on an unforgettable 5-day journey from Uganda's capital city Kampala to the untouched Northeast of the country Karamojaland.

Honouring Paul Sherwen
The core goal of the ride is to bring people together and specifically to honour the late Paul Sherwen - partner of Kara-Tunga and Co-founder of the Tour of Karamaoja bike event - who had a great passion for the Karamoja region and bringing positive social change and create job opportunities through tourism.

Social impact
During the ride we will stop at two community projects in Tirinyi and Moroto.

Organisation
The ride to Karamoja is an initiative of Ultimate Cycling and co-hosted by Kara-Tunga that started their partnership through cycling in prepepration for the Tour of Karamoja 2019.
