Rwanda seeking to become a manufacturing hub in Africa

It’s Africa’s third fastest growing economy with the fourth-best life expectancy on the continent. The World Bank ranked it the 29th easiest place to do business globally and it just launched Africa’s first fully-fledged mobile phone manufacturing plant. On paper, Rwanda has all the markers for a country on the move. It’s hard to believe that just 25 years ago the little East African nation was written off after experiencing the worst genocide in recent history. However, the land of a thousand hills is rising and is looking to set itself up as the Singapore of Africa. Just how does it intend to do that?
