Meet Themba, a 19 year old skateboarder from Malawi, Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world. I don't know of any other serious skaters out there, it's difficult to even find decent paved places to skate.
We are looking to find him a sponsor! He recently broke his board. I asked our friend Peace Kapalo to send me some footage of him skating, and they came back with a whole video part.
Cement Ship can send items directly to Themba, through a Santa Cruz non-profit: H2O - His 2 Offer. We load supplies onto a shipping container and the goods go directly to the people in need.
