South Africa's Intelligence Services are in the spotlight again.
When parts of the country were plunged into violence during the unrest of July 2021, many asked by intelligence were not armed with information to warn the public and avoid loss of life.
Professor Bhecki Mngomezulu says it's important now to answer whether the country is any better off than it was in 2021.
Especially in light of the tell all book, Truth to Power, written by the former CEO of Eskom, Andre de Ruyter.
Mngomezulu is the Director of the Centre for the Advancement of Non Racialism and Democracy at Nelson Mandela University and he joins us now.
