Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 26 January 2024, we will start today's video to show the trash around the landfill in Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province in South Africa. Then, there was rain and hail in Waterval Boven. We also show a lovely day atop the mountain overlooking Hartbeespoort Dam. We then show you the flooding of the Orange River at the Augrabies Falls National Park, with the flow currently above 600 cumecs today. Then, we will visit the Orama Roadhouse in Boksburg and walk around Fort Schanskop in Pretoria. High water levels of the Orange River run past Ikaya River Lodge in Keimoes. Then, we will show a warthog and her little ones recorded at night outside Bela Bela, and we show you more videos from around South Africa.

The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
There is a forecast for severe thunderstorms in certain areas, which may result in heavy downpours and localised flooding of roads and low-lying bridges. The affected regions include western parts of KZN, southern parts of Limpopo, extreme north-eastern parts of North-West, extreme eastern parts of the Free State, and the central and northern parts of Gauteng. On Friday, 26 January 2024, South Africa can expect rain and sunshine. The eastern regions of the country can expect regular and extensive rainfall, which will help maintain the soil's moisture and promote the crops' well-being. Expect drier and warmer conditions in the central and western parts, with fire danger warnings in the Northern Cape, Western Cape, and Eastern Cape. Moderate south-westerly winds and morning fog are expected in the coastal areas. The temperatures will vary greatly, with the north experiencing scorching heat and the south enjoying more moderate conditions. There is a significant risk of fire in the Northern Cape Province, as well as in Laingsburg and Breede Valley of the Western Cape Province.

We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe.

Also in this video, a herd of elephants having a drink at a dam in the Kruger National Park, make a stop on Route 62 near Barrydale, and walk through the Jasmyn farmers market near Hartebeespoort Dam, and show you the view from Kleinmond and the water runoff after recent rains. We take a stroll on the beach at Strand near Cape Town and we end the video today with a plane flying over Blue Horizon Bay in the Eastern Cape to South Africa.
