South Africa-Qatar I President Cyril Ramaphosa arrives in the Gulf region

President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in the Gulf region. The President is on a two-day state visit in Qatar. The President will among other issues discuss trade and investment between South Africa and Qatar with the leader of Qatar. The current global challenges is also on the agenda. Qatar has been involved as a mediator between Israel and Hamas for the release of those who were taken hostage when Hamas attacked people who attended a music festival early last month. South Africa has called for a ceasefire and the release of hostages. This is likely going to dominate the talks between the two leaders.
