South Sudan's central bank targets illegal traders to protect its currency

South Sudan has warned that it will crack down on illegal foreign exchange trading in its attempt to control inflation in the country. The local currency, the South Sudanese Pound, is continuously losing value against the U.S. dollar, and as a result, prices of basic commodities continue to rise.
