It was an event that brought the stars of African cinema to the thriving city of Lagos, Nigeria. For the first time the Africa Movie Academy Awards was held in the commercial city and talented actors and actresses and their works were celebrated.

The event was also attended by some Hollywood stars. Lynn Whitfied, Rock Dunbar, Morris Chestnut and more.
