Hymn 733 - We All Are One in Mission
We all are one in mission,
We all are one in call,
Our varied gifts united
By Christ, the Lord of all.
A single, great commission
Compels us from above
To plan and work together
That all may know Christ’s love.
We all are called for service
To witness in God’s name.
Our ministries are diff’rent,
Our purpose is the same:
To touch the lives of others
By God’s surprising grace
So ev’ry folk and nation
May feel God’s warm embrace.
Now let us be united
And let our song be heard.
Now let us be a vessel
For God’s redeeming Word.
We all are one in mission,
We all are one in call,
Our varied gifts united
By Christ, the Lord of all.
Opening Prayer (together)
Loving, generous God, we thank you for calling us together to share our gifts, our ministry, and our service. As we worship together, open our hearts to be moved by your grace. Empower us by your Spirit, that we might be part of your ministry of love and justice revealed in Christ, our Lord. In his name we pray. Amen.

All: to sing praises to your name, O Most High,
One: to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
All: and your faithfulness at night,

All: to the melody of the lyre.

All: at the works of your hands I sing for joy.

The Lord’s Prayer (together)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Dedication of Ourselves (together)
God of grace, you have called us by name, and pledged to each of us your faithful love. Now we pledge ourselves to you, saying, “Here I am; send me!” We pledge to work together for good in this community of faith, living in hope, offering what we can, and sharing your love in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Hymn 69 - I, the Lord of Sea and Sky
I, the Lord of sea and sky
I have heard my people cry
All who dwell in dark and sin
My hand will save
I, who made the stars of night
I will make their darkness bright
Who will bear my light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Chorus: Here I am, Lord
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night
I will go, Lord
If you lead me
I will hold your people in my heart
I, the Lord of snow and rain
I have borne my people’s pain
I have wept for love of them
They turn away
I will break their hearts of stone
Give them hearts for love alone
I will speak my words to them
Whom shall I send? (Chorus)
I, the Lord of wind and flame
I will tend the poor and lame
I will set a feast for them
My hand will save
Finest bread I will provide
’Til their hearts be satisfied
I will give my life to them
Whom shall I send? (Chorus)
