Tax conference underscores importance of VAT in increasing tax revenue in Uganda

The 17th Value Added Tax Administrators in Africa Conference has underscored the opportunity for expansion of revenue streams through the VAT component. Uganda is hosting the event, which is being attended by at least 10 representatives from difference countries across the continent. The tax revenue authorities are meeting under the Theme “ Maximizing tax revenue through E Commerce.”
