The 201st Mexican Fighter Squadron

In this presentation, educator Dr. Gerardo Lopez gives a fascinating history of the 201st Mexican Fighter Squadron that aided the World War II Allied war effort. Known as the Águilas Aztecas or Aztec Eagles, the squadron was attached to the 58th Fighter Group of the U.S. Army Air Forces during the liberation of Luzon, in the summer of 1945.
