Another interesting clip from TAP Season 3 Episode 17 but this time we just touch briefly on how hunters have taken non native species of exotic game animals and restored their populations to greater numbers than they currently exist in their natural habitat and the possibility of reintroducing them if need be. This is not the only way that hunting has played a role in the growing populations of animals however, especially in Africa. From 1970 to present day hunters took the South African wildlife population from five-hundred thousand to twenty-six million! The astronomical increase in head of wildlife is a direct result of the value that hunting puts on wildlife and the economic consequence of that money going back into conservation.
