We go from the relative calm of of the city of Mindelo where I take care of my friend's boat and we check up on Wendy's little bar. Then we take on the ocean canal between the islands of Sao Vicente and Santa Antao. The ocean there is horribly mean, but we forge on so we can get to the Sao Jao festival.
