From actors such as suppliers, intermediaries, customers, competitors, and publics, up to major environmental forces such as demographic, economic, natural, technological, political and cultural.

The main objective of a company is to identify a problem, a need, a want or a demand of consumers and to come up with a solution to satisfy it. Doing so is called providing customer value, so in return they can get paid for their product or service, the solution, which in marketing is named capturing value from customers in return.

● The macroenvironment consists of larger societal forces that affect the entire microenvironment.
● The company’s microenvironment consists of actors close to the company that combine to form its value delivery network or that affect its ability to serve its customers
● In order to develop effective marketing strategies, a company must first understand the environment in which it operates. Remember that all companies want to engage customers and build relationships with them, so the customers remain customers, and to do so, you, as a company need to know the environment in which you operate.
