John Francis Kitime, is a seasoned Tanzanian musician with over 50 years of experience in the industry. Throughout my career, I've been a part of various renowned Tanzanian bands and explored acting, appearing in numerous Tanzanian films and TV series. My musical journey has taken me on tours across the USA, Europe, India, and Africa. Additionally, I've had the privilege of serving as the Chairman of the Tanzania Music Association and as the Secretary General of the Tanzania Musicians Federation. Currently, I'm passionately working on the creation of a Tanzania music archive. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
