The IGALA OGBA DANCE

The IGALA OGBA CULTURAL DANCE is a unique dancing competition that is organize to mark a one year remembrance of the dead by the IGALA people.

It's an annual festive performance which is celebrated to comemorate the demised of their love ones.

The performance is organized by the family of the deceased to honour his presence with his/her ancestors.

According to the rite and ritual of the IGALA people women are not allowed to watch the performer while performing the rite.
