God created the universe and God created human beings in His own image. God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to nuture the land. One day Satan, the devil, came and convincing them rebelled against God. This is the beginning how sin entered the world, creating a barrier between men and God.
The Lord of love planned a rescue plan instead of abandoning the human race. He chosen Abram one of the first to see God’s plan and makes him a promise. God would raise up His chosen people, Israel, to be a blessing to the nations. It started with God’s Law as in the ten commandments, and was fulfilled when Christ came (Mat 5:17). For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. The Holy Bible said “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons” (Gal. 4:4-5).
Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem. Jesus was baptized, Jesus was about thirty years old when he began his ministry that God sent him to earth to do. Jesus chose 12 men as his apostles. Jesus revealed his glory as the Son of God. He healed many sick and oppressed, Jesus calms a storm on the sea, walking on water… The most important thing is He was a preachers handle the God's word faithfully. Jesus Christ is evident in the way He consistently acts righteously; His every action is consistent with His character. That is why people hate him, especially the leaders because they thought Jesus had captured the hearts and minds of people and turned them away from them. But most of all, they hated Jesus because he claimed to be from God, “I am the Christ, the Son of the Blessed".
Jesus preached for about three and a half years before executed. Soldiers gambled for his clothes and crowds of onlookers urged him. They spat upon Him, and struck Him in the face. After mocking Him and striking Him across the face, the soldiers take the stick from His hand and strike Him across the head, driving the thorns deeper into His scalp. They nailed Jesus wrists and feet to a cross. A spear was thrust into his side to confirm his death. Everything is in God's plan. More than 500 witnesses Jesus returned from the dead three days later, and over the next 40 days journeyed in both the southern and northern provinces of Israel. To many, this was conclusive proof that Jesus' claims to be God were real. Then Jesus returned to Jerusalem, the city where he was recently executed and he left the earth.
Not only do we have the promise of eternal life with Jesus in our future, but we receive the Holy Spirit in us; a guarantee that this brand-new, victorious resurrection life starts right now. In the same way, salvation is God’s free gift to us and we become His children. Romans 10:9 says: “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” The decision is yours!
