The pearl of Africa // Travel journal - Queen Elizabeth National Park \\ camimmu
Have you ever visited a place, any place, you just instantly like? You feel an unexplainable connection to it? The energy feels right. I like to call that a soulplace, Uganda is my soulplace.
This is the second part of a three part video series of my adventures in Uganda. Our second stop of the trip was Queen Elizabeth National Park and lovely Marafiki Lodge.
While I was putting the final touches on the editing of this video, I got the news that a pride of 11 lions had been found dead in the park. The investigation of the cause is still ongoing but it's suspected that the deaths are a result of years of conflict with the local villages living in the park. I hope this event and this video will make everyone think about this dilemma and the importance of sustainable nature conservation and sustainable toursim.
