These 10 Black Inventors Changed the World

We are honoring ten African-Americans who have made significant contributions to society by highlighting their achievements during Black History Month. Benjamin Banneker, a self-taught mathematician and astronomer who contributed to the design of Washington, D.C., is one of these individuals.
