TransAfrica West Africa, Benin Togo Ghana Webinar April 2020

Learn about what TransArica offers in Benin, Togo and Ghana with Almasio Gabriele. Originally from Milan, after a backpacking adventure around Britain and Scotland he decided to enter the tourism industry with a focus on Africa, first in Eastern and Southern Africa, and eventually Western Africa. His adventures with TransAfrica started when he assisted the founder of the company, Alberto, in a 4x4 cross-desert expedition from Milan to Lomé, and when he finally arrived in West Africa it was love at first sight. The abundance of ancient rituals and traditions, history and art bewitched him. Gabriele started as a guide, then coordinator, and now he’s the Operations Manager of the company office in Lomé. He has travelled in Ghana, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Ivory Coast. Gabriele’s passion is art and his knowledge ranges from tribal to contemporary. In 2015 he opened a gallery in Lomé dealing with collectors and merchants.
