Type 1 Diabetes, Travel and Holidays - JDRF Virtual Discovery Event

Travelling can be stressful at the best of times but travelling with type 1 diabetes can make things even harder. Fear not, we are here to help with our free online event, ‘Type 1 Diabetes Discovery Event: Travel & Holidays’.

We understand that being away from home, overnight stays and travelling by air can be particularly difficult and a lot of preparation is needed. We will be sharing lots of information and top tips to ensure travelling with type 1 is smoother and less stressful.

You will hear from people that have many years of experience of travelling with type 1 and there will be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.

By the end of the event, you will:

Gain knowledge and confidence to feel better prepared for your own travels this summer

Know what to consider and what to do if something goes wrong
