Ethiopia: U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres pressed Ethiopia’s ambassador for evidence after seven U.N. staff were expelled from the country for allegations of misconduct. Reports say Ethiopia has accused the officials of meddling in the country’s internal affairs.

Earlier in the week, Algeria recalled its ambassador to France following media reports that French President Emmanuel Macron made comments that were critical of Algeria.
