J-PAL affiliates Kate Orkin (Oxford) and Rulof Burger (Stellenbosch University) discussed their research insights, focusing on information frictions, search barriers and the development of signaling tools in the South African labor market. Additionally, Nilmini Herath (former Senior Research Manager, J-PAL Africa) discussed her experience in labor market research in South Africa.
