Jumia is Africa's leading eCommerce firm. Jumia has established branches in 14 countries with 11 actively operating.
In 2020, more than a billion website visits were recorded. Also, Jumia had more than 110,000 active sellers offering over 40 million products in total. They had 6.9 million active consumers listed in Africa, more than 28 million orders were made in 2020 alone and a transaction was made every two seconds. After all these numbers, the African giant is yet to make any profit since it was established in 2012. This is due to several factors presented in this video.
