What are the opportunities seen by local actors/artists in the concept of "Creative Africa"? Which projects are seen as role models, which mistakes should be avoided, where is the line between a globalized 'sellout' and the preservation of cultural diversity, and finally: Who takes the benefit out of the CI? Does the creative industries marginalises other form of artistic expressions, especially in the context of freedom of expression, human rights, democracy, identity, social cohesion...? Culture and industry -- to be opposites

Ade Solanke is a playwright and screenwriter. She was born and raised in London. Her company, Spora Stories, tells the dynamic stories of the African diaspora for stage and screen. Her debut play Pandora's Box, had its premiere 2012 and is nominated for Best New Play in the Off West End Theatre Awards and won Best New Play in the Afro-Hollywood Awards and Best Playwright in the Nigerian Entertainment and Lifestyle Awards.
