World Hijab Day: Nigerian Muslim Women Condemn Discrimination, Oppression

A coalition of Muslim Women organisations in #Nigeria is calling for an end to the continuous discrimination and oppression of #Hijabis who they say are fast becoming an endangered species in the country and the world at large.

The group of 18 Muslim bodies made this call in commemoration of #WorldHijabDay with the theme: “Progression not Oppression”, calling for an inclusive right and representation without bias.
