Zambia Prepares for Peaceful Transition of Power to New President
Opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema was declared president of Zambia Monday, defeating incumbent President Edgar Lungu who has conceded the election. Africa 54 Managing Editor Vincent Makori spoke with VOA’s Peter Clottey, who is in Lusaka, about the transition of power.
