Zimbabwe Opposition Jubilant After Dominant By-Election Performance
Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, the Citizens Coalition for Change led by Advocate Nelson Chamisa, is flying high after a dominant performance in by-elections held Saturday to replace recalled officials in parliament and council. In an exclusive interview with host of VOA’s Africa 54, Esther Githui-Ewart, Chamisa says this victory is a resounding affirmation that victory is inevitable in the 2023 general elections because his party is feeding into Zimbabweans need for change.
