লিবিয়ায় মোয়াম্মার গাদ্দাফির ৪২ বছরের শাসনামলে দেশটির শিক্ষা, চিকিৎসা, বিদ্যুৎ, পানি, গ্যাস সবকিছুই ছিলো একদমই ফ্রি। এই সবকিছুর জন্য একটা পয়সাও কখনো দিতে হতো না দেশটির বাসিন্দাদের।
তাছাড়া বাল্যবিবাহ একদমই ছিলো না, মানুষের ইনকাম ছিলো ট্যাক্স ফ্রি, স্ট্যান্ডার্ড অফ লিভিং ছিলো আফ্রিকার মধ্যে সর্বচ্চ এমনকি সৌদি আরব থেকেও কয়েকগুন ভালো।
During the 42-year regime of Moammar Gaddafi in Libya, education, medical care, electricity, water, and gas were all free. The residents of the country never had to pay a single penny for all this.
Moreover, there was no child marriage at all, people's income was tax-free, and the standard of living was the highest in Africa and even several times better than in Saudi Arabia.
