Un jeune homme (Calix), issue d'une famille aisée, fait un pari avec ses amis : rouler à moto à vive allure sans frein ni phare pendant une semaine, sans être inquiété. Il sera percuté par un véhicule une femme (Honorine) au volant de sa voiture. Cette conductrice se retrouve en prison où elle subit la dure loi de l'univers carcéral. D'une vie de foyer heureuse, ce drame qui fait basculer sa vie. Mais Honorine, une mère de deux enfants, est déterminée à préserver sa dignité de femme ou toutes les femmes qui y ont vécu ont été violées puis violentées par le Directeur de la prison, les gardes de la prison avant d’être livrées aux autres prisonniers.

Corruption, viol et déni de justice seraient le lot des justiciables sans moyen ?

Ce long métrage de fiction attire l'attention les a*bus de pouvoir et l'exploitation de la vulnérabilité de personnes à conditions modestes. A travers ce film pathétique mais très sensibilisateur, le réalisateur Missa Hébié met à nu, tout ce qui se trame dans les coulisses de certaines prisons africaines.

SYNOPSIS
Rosemonde est une femme de ménage de 35 ans. Elle vient de totaliser 10 ans de mariage avec M. TIENDRE, un homme de tenue de 42 ans. Jusque-là, le couple n’a pas eu d’enfant.
Pour M. TIENDRE et sa famille, c’est sans nul doute Rosemonde qui est stérile. Alors TIENDRE entame un processus de divorce, car lui, dans ses virées hors mariage, a eu à enceinter une fille du nom de Kumba.
Mais TIENDRE apprendra par la suite, au terme des examens médicaux, qu’il est le seul responsable de la situation.

Mami une vieille veuve vit avec sa petite fille, Abi, dans une modeste cour. Abou, le fils de leur voisin, le riche entrepreneur monsieur Tymbre, voue une grande amitié pour Abi et la fréquente malgré l'opposition farouche de ses parents. Monsieur Tymbre décide d'acheter la cour de Mami pour agrandir son jardin, faire une piscine et éloigner ainsi Abi de son fils. Mami rejette toutes les propositions de monsieur Tymbre qui monte les enchères. Monsieur Tymbre et Salam, le frère du mari de Mami, menacent de la chasser de la cour.
