On the 19th of April, 2012, the life of David Lilienfeld was cut short when he was fatally attacked by a great white shark while enjoying one of his greatest passions – bodyboarding at Kogel Bay in South Africa. The news of his untimely demise not only sent shockwaves through the tight-knit bodyboarding community but reverberated around the world. After his passing, Davids story raises questions about human interaction with nature and the lasting impact it leaves on both the local and global community with many blaming the process of chumming for his death. So what exactly happened to him? This is the story of the Kogel Bay shark attack, the death of David Lilenfield.

Tanzania is one of Africa's top safari destinations. The wildlife viewing is out of this world and big cats are especially easy to see. All members of the Big Five can be found in various Tanzanian parks and reserves, and all five are present in the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park.

Februar 2020. Große Eröffnungsfeier.Das neue Haus in Esitjeni ist ein Studycenter mit Kindergarten. Dort werden 62 kleine Waisen und Halbwaisen betreut und im Studycenter haben die High-Schüler Platz, Ruhe und Computer um sich auf ihr Abitur vorzubereiten. Ein Lehrer betreut sie. Ziemlich einmalig in Eswatini, dem ehemaligen Swaziland. Der Heidelberger Verein Voices-For-Africa hat die Finanzierung geleistet, zusammen mit der Schmitzstiftung. Geholfen haben außerdem großzügige Spender und der Heppenheimer Jugendchor.
