The film's plot revolves around four animals from the Central Park Zoo who unexpectedly find themselves stranded on the island of Madagascar, and must learn to adapt to the wild. Madagascar launched a franchise with a series of films, including the sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa in 2008 and another film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted in 2012. A spin-off featuring the series' penguin characters, Penguins of Madagascar, was released on November 26, 2014.

Schuks Tshabalala (Leon Schuster) and his sidekick, Shorty (Alfred Ntombela), are tasked with making a movie to promote tourism to South Africa. Instead this is a comedy loaded with pranks and zany dialogue.

It has been announced that Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nomination night for 2012 has been fixed for 03/17/2012. The AMAA Awards are the most prestigious awards for film on the African continent. Nominees for awards in various categories will be announced on the nomination night. The awards ceremony proper will take place on April 17. With less than four weeks to go to the announcement of the nominees, there is eager anticipation among film makers on the continent. Mini Bio: Gift Space Lwelele Chongo (Chintelelwe)

Chintelewe met The Legendary Producer Axenic De Hardrox at Zambian Rhythm Promotions in 2004 during a supossed studio session when Emmie Routes came to Record Ama Facts. Chintelelwe who's studio time had elapsed did stay because he wanted to get to know Emmie Routes who clearly wanted privacy when recording.

Gift Space Lwelele was recording what would be his professional first studio album, after The Hardrox had sent him back in 2005 to work on his vocals, (The Journey To Paradise) in 2008, it was at PLATiNUM ViBES S2dios; where The Legendary Beat Smith - Axenic De Hardrox discovered the Acting and Screen Personality in Gift Space Lwelele whom was nicknamed Chintelelwe icha kubaleta at PLATiNUM ViBES S2dios.

The Hardrox being an avid believer in intellectual capital, advised Chintelelwe that this Movie (On DVD) by Published and Distributed Sunrise Investment Ltd, would make sales on the Copperbelt and the Northern Parts of Zambia knowing that Lusaka was never an easy market for cultural content considering the mixture in language. The Hardrox had to also start from scratch vocal coaching, mentoring and directing the young (LB) on how to compose and write music professionally in 2008.

The main idea behind it was to promote cultural revolution between the two nations India and South Africa.
Shri Sachin Pilgaonkar sir received Lifetime Achievement award at this film festival.
The film screenings took place at ICCR hall in Johannesburg and Durban. The award ceremony took place at prestigious Galaghar Estate in Midrand South Africa.
