With the unprecedented success of the 2020 live-action sonic the hedgehog and the latest release in the franchise -Sonic the Hedgehog 2- which quickly became the highest-grossing video game movie ever made in the US, passing its predecessor with $147 million domestically. Taking its well-deserved crown, there is no sign of the Sonic franchise screeching to a halt anytime soon.

Over the years we’ve seen multiple Sonic spin-off games brought to us, including Knuckles Chaotix and Sonic Boom. And as much as fans around the world love the games brought to us by Sega, fans want to see more hit our screens.

Of course, we’re not saying we don’t want to see Sonic anymore. THE TIDE HAS COME. Renowned horror author Stephen King has created many characters who are writers over the years, like Jack Torrance, Bill Denbrough and many others. But perhaps the one who suffered more than any of them was Paul Sheldon. Paul was a successful author most known for a series of books called the Misery novels, but one day in 1987 after a life-threatening car accident, Paul was abducted by his number one fan: Annie Wilkes. He was tasked with trying to escape the confines of her house, which was not easy with broken legs and no contact with the outside world.

In this video I'll be analysing the entire chronological life of Paul Sheldon, from his birth in 1945, to a possible run in with a character from IT, to his rise to fame in his adulthood and of course, his miserable five month stay in Sidewinder, CO at the home of Annie Wilkes and the torture (including the infamous hobbling scene!) that he endured during that time.

I'll be offering my insight into what Misery is really about on a subtextual level, as well as breaking down the meaning behind many of Paul's choices, including his relationship with drugs and alcohol and what it all means for his character. I'll also go over the mind games he plays with Annie to try to give himself a fighting chance at survival, and I'll look at what she did to try to break him down, and the effects that these actions had on him psychologically.

This will cover the entire known history of Paul from his birth, to his last known appearance at the end of Misery. Please note that this will only analyse his character as written in the book. I will show some clips from the movie as a visual aid, but for the purposes of Horror History, the novel is canon!

There are two fertility pills. Letrozole and Clomid. But which one is best? When should you use one versus the other? Find out on today's episode of InfertilityTV

In this corner, the granddaddy of all fertility drugs we have Clomid. First to come to market in 1967, Clomid has been used more than any other fertility drug in history.

In this corner, sassy newcomer -- Letrozole - known by fans as Femara. Letrozole was first approved for medical use in 1996 - almost 30 years after Clomid. Initially used as a treatment for breast cancer, letrozole has only been used as a fertility medication since 2001 and only used commonly since 2006

Both contenders are given as an oral medication. Both can be monitored at home with an ovulation predictor test or in the doctor’s office with blood tests and ultrasounds.

In Match #1 - Letrozole faces off against Clomid for the treatment of women with PCOS. A massive study of almost 800 women with PCOS found more women ovulated with letrozole, more women got pregnant and delivered with letrozole with no difference in the rate of multiple pregnancies. The winner: Letrozole
