Moh! Kouyaté, der wohl zur Zeit bekannteste Sänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter aus dem kleinen westafrikanischen Land Guinea, hat nach seinem letzten Solo-Album „Fe Toki“ endlich die Zeit gefunden, ein Herzensprojekt zu verwirklichen. In seiner Geburtsstadt Conakry sowie in seiner Wahlheimat Paris vereinte er etliche alte und neue Wegbestreiter im Studio und rief die ´Guinée Music All Stars´ ins Leben. Mit dabei unter anderem Sékouba Bambino (Africando / Bembeya Jazz International) sowie die Sängerin und Tänzerin Adama Kouyaté. Mit diesem Ensemble verknüpft er die traditionelle Mandinka Musik seines Landes mit neuen Urban Sounds aus Conakry und dem schwarzen Paris. Vom Afro-Funk über Afro-Blues bis hin zu den feinen und zarten Klängen der Kora, gespielt von seinem Bruder Abdoulaye Kouyaté, wird uns seine musikalische Reise führen.
