VEE MAMPEEZY "AFRICA" AFRICAN MUSIC #BOTSWANA
At Christmas time, we as Christians celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus, and in the preceding period of Advent, we commemorate the time of waiting for the arrival of the Messiah. For us New Apostolic Christians, Advent also symbolizes the present-day waiting for the return of Jesus Christ.
In our District Church, Advent 2015 was marked by an additional highlight; namely, the visit of Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider to Cape Town. During this visit, he conducted a divine service at Tafelsig on Sunday 13 December, which was preceded by a concert at Silvertown on Saturday 12 December.
Composed by John Rodriques

“I am”, composed by Mark Hayes, uses text adapted from the Gospel of John. The Gospel of John portrays Jesus' latter years of ministry as a time of profound revelation of his true identity as the Son of God, the Messiah, and the divine "I am." Through his teachings, miracles, "I am" statements, and interactions, the Gospel emphasizes the significance of believing in him as the source of eternal life and salvation.
This item was performed at the Silvertown Auditorium in Athlone, Cape Town on Saturday 02 March 2013. Focusing on the service for the departed, the concert program highlighted the following themes: Jesus Christ, Grace and redemption and our eternal home. These themes were expressed through a variety of music, from arrangements of traditional hymns to contemporary compositions.

Nigeria has the biggest music industry in Africa. Cassper Nyovest says that the SA music industry will not reach the stature of the Nigerian industry because there is too much division in SA. Can we even compare the two industries? Watch until the end to find out why I think we shouldn't.
