Today, I share with you a practice used by fish farms in several jurisdictions throughout the world. I am happy to say, this practice is not done in Jamaica. This is based on research conducted locally. This practice is not limited to tilapia fish. This practice extends to several fish types used as farmed fish example catfish. Join the conversation, I look forward to a healthy and robust discussion on this issue.

Now he has heard that the man has breached the terms of his sentence and has more dogs, so Venter, and the police, move in again. Senior Inspector James Murphy has to persuade the owner of three dogs that they can’t be kept on tangled chains, unable to get out of the sun or reach their water. Wildlife Inspector Kira Joshua has to relocate a family of Egyptian geese that has been terrorising the owners of the swimming pool which the geese have made their home. Chief Inspector Venter rushes to the rescue of a dog drowning in a canal. And newly qualified Inspector Wayne Hector investigates a report of an emaciated horse being used to drag a cart made from half a car.

A variety of animals can be found in the park. Above the timberline, the Kilimanjaro tree hyrax, the grey duiker, and rodents are frequently encountered. The bushbuck and red duiker appear above the timberline in places. Cape buffaloes are found in the montane forest and occasionally in the moorland and grassland. Elephants can be found between the Namwai and Tarakia rivers and sometimes occur at higher elevations. In the montane forests, blue monkeys, eastern black and white colobuses, bushbabies, and leopards can be found.
