Mr Errol has decided that he wants a pet dog so we've taken a trip to visit a dog breeder in the Gambia to see if he has a suitable pet. Join us as we make the life long decision about what type of dog to buy to be part of our happy home.

We have a lot of cows, sheep and goats roaming the streets of The Gambia. And of course the dogs and cats.
It's a miracle that there are not more accidents happening with animals involved, as we all share the same road, at a different speed.
You hardly see pigs out and about! Only in areas where Christians are settling.
And if you see one you don't expect a random guy to shout: "I am the owner of that pig, you have to pay me to film it!"

A filmer captured footage of an angry hippopotamus chasing after a boat in a lake in Kenya.

In the video, a tourist films three hippos as a boat slowly glides past them.

Then one hippo turns to face the boat and begins to chase it.

“He’s going after us!” the filmer exclaims.

The operator speeds the boat up so the hippo can’t keep and, eventually, it gives up the chase.

“We came a little too close to a group of hippos in the water and one of them started chasing the boat,” the filmer said.

San Diego Zoo Global researchers have confirmed the presence of rare black leopards living in Laikipia County, Kenya. Sometimes called black panthers, the melanistic leopards were filmed in Lorok, Laikipia County, Kenya on remote cameras that were set up as part of a large-scale study aimed at understanding the population dynamics of leopards in Mpala and Loisaba Conservancies.

Giraffe Rescue
A giraffe was spotted with a tyre stuck around its neck at the haller park and the vet team was immediately notified to come rescue the giraffe. We can only imagine that it may have been feeding on some grass and the discarded tyre got stuck around its neck.
After 3 hours of walking through the bushes and swampy areas, the giraffe was finally spotted and darted, however it picked the most difficult spot to fall asleep on, a slope. The team had to work quickly to remove the tyre, and quickly revive it for its own safety. However during treatment, the giraffe which weighs almost a ton, moved and rolled down the slope almost falling on top of the vet and the team. It just goes to show that being a wildlife medic is not an easy job and they always place themselves at risk for the treatment of wildlife.
When the giraffe settled at the bottom of the slope, the team quickly administered antibiotics and the giraffe was quickly helped up and safely went on its way.
